Tripoli. The second training round of the Libyan Navy and Coast Guard by the Italian Navy. On 14 November 78 Libyan trainees and 5 tutors were welcomed on board the amphibious San Giorgio Navy Unit to resume classes and practical activities. The training that took place on board the two units of Operation Sophia of Eunavfor Med, San Giorgio Ship and Rotterdam Ship was to form the first instructors of the new Libyan Navy/Coast Guard. The entire command line of Operation Sophia is Italian, with Admiral Enrico Credendino (Operation Commander) and Admiral Giuseppe Berutti Bergotto (Force Commander at sea, on board the Garibaldi ship).
