The “Seabourn Encore” ceremony took place at the Marghera shipyards; the first of two super-luxury cruise ships ordered from Fincantieri by the shipping company Seabourn Cruise Line a Carnival Corporation brand, the top cruise operator in the world. The ceremony was attended, among others, for the Micky Arison shipping company, Chairman of Carnival Corporation; Richard D. Meadows President of Seabourn Cruise Line and Arnold Donald the CEO of Carnival Corporation. Whereas for Fincantieri, President Giampiero Massolo and CEO Giuseppe Bono. “Seabourn Encore” will be officially presented to the public with a christening ceremony to be held in Singapore on January 7. In the presence of guests and international artists, the godmother of the ship will be the world renowned soprano, Sarah Brightman.
