Munich – On the occasion of the centenary of Giorgio Bassani birth, the Italian Institute of Culture in Munich traces the complex relationships between literature and cinema during the Fifties, when Bassani collaborated on the screenplays of many directors: Mario Soldati, Michelangelo Antonioni, Luigi Zampa, Alessandro Blasetti and Luchino Visconti. Since the sixties cinema took inspiration from the stories of Bassani, as in the case of The Long Night of ’43 (1960) by Vancini. Appointment Monday, December 12 at 20 at the Italian Institute of Culture. (9Colonne)
