Beirut – The West Sector of UNIFIL has hosted, in Shama “Millevoi” base, women’s cooperatives of the South of Lebanon. Women entrepreneurs exhibited their handmade products in a specific focus Italian Contingent area. The activity, organized by Civil Affaire of UNIFIL in coordination with Sector West Civil Military Cooperation Cell, wanted to offer to new Lebanese women entrepreneurs, the opportunity to introduce its products to the peacekeepers operating in the area . Opening the show was the Brigadier General Ugo Cillo, commander of Sector, who underlined the importance of the day and successes, ever increasing, that female businesses are having in southern Lebanon.
