(15 December, 2016) Images, classical music and technology all come together in Gerardo Felisatti’s new video. 6 different cameras and 2 drones have captured 150 hours of footage in more than 100 locations across New York from sunrise to sunset. Everything is summed up in a 4-minute video entitled “Leggermente”. Felisatti has included images of the Big Apple in his video to accompany his music. “Leggerment” documents the US metropolis using a 24-hour time lapse. Among the piano arpeggios and cello arches are images, lights and all the sides of a multifaceted city. Among Yann Tiersen and Ludovico Einaudi, Felisatti is able to bring the public closer to the world of classical music with great finesse and composition. The melodic and circular movements, takes the listener on an intimate journey and opens large scenarios that flow through the images. (Red)
