London. Yesterday afternoon a Falcon 900 of the 31st Ciampino Wing of the Italian Air Force transported a two-month old baby girl suffering from a rare disease and in need of specialised care from London Biggin Hill to Brescia Montichiari. The aircraft took off in Rome the order of the Air Force Command (Sala Situazioni di Vertice del Comando Squadra Aerea dell’Aeronautica Militare), following the request of the Prefecture of Brescia. The Falcon 900 transported a specialised medical team to assist the child during the entire trip. Once the child and parents were boarded, the aircraft took off for Montichiari, where the infant was then transferred to the hospital for further specialised care. (9Colonne)
