(December 26, 2016) The Toronto Design Offsite Festival, in partnership with Harbourfront Centre and Toronto IIC, presents “To Do Talks: Alessandro Guerriero”. Next January 20 (19.30-21, Harbourfront Centre) Guerriero — Milan-based architect, designer, and artist — and Luigi Ferrara — Dean, Centre for Arts, Design & Information Technology and Director, Institute without Boundaries — will hold an informal tour and discussion of the TO DO 2017 exhibition ‘Workwear.’ Devised and curated by Guerriero, ‘Workwear’ features playful and cutting-edge explorations of uniforms and daily workwear by 40 Italian and international artists, designers, and architects, including Alessandro Mendini, Issey Miyake, Erwin Wurm, Vivienne Westwood, Elio Fiorucci, and Coop Himmelb(l)au. The Exhibition will be open from January 27 to April 23 (235 Queens Quay West Toronto), organized by the IIC in partnership with Harbourfront Centre. (Red)
