Valletta – Marco Arcidiacono, with its exhibition of watercolors and oils, is first in line in favor of the Earthquake-stricken town of Amatrice. A portion of the proceeds will be donated in fact in aid to people affected by the earthquake in central Italy. The exhibition, hosted by the Italian Institute of Culture in Valletta, will remain open until January 13. Arcidiano develops his artistic training at the Birkfield School of Art, thanks to the teachings of Gabriel Dechamps, who loved to paint the Mediterranean coast. He participates in numerous group exhibitions in the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Bulgaria, Romania and Malta and also takes personal exhibitions. In almost 50 years of production of watercolors, he has reproduced the colors of the Mediterranean that are dear to him and that also his father, the great watercolorist Maltese Giuseppe Arcidiacono, well known to the Royal Academy, used to paint.
