(January 6, 2017) The project for the construction of the “Science, Knowledge and Innovation Park” on the former Expo site takes an important step forward. On the Arexpo website, in fact, is available the text of the international call for the selection of the technical, economic and financial operator that will support the Company in the preparation of the master plan and the development of the area of over one million square meters, which hosted the ‘World Expo 2015. The “Science, Knowledge and Innovation park” will include the offices of the Human Technopole and the Campus of the scientific faculties of the University of Milan, which will be important elements of attraction for many domestic and primary international standing businesses that have already expressed their interest to settle in this area. The project will keep the surface of 440 thousand square meters park. Arexpo therefore intends to select an economic operator with whom build a partnership for the Area Regeneration, through a mixture of contract and contract award. The race will be presented to the operators on Tuesday, January 10 in Milan at the operational headquarters of Arexpo and the next day in London at the residence of the Embassy of Italy. The race, in particular, has two phases. In the first phase it will be carried out the technical, economic and financial advisory, in support of Arexpo, for the definition of the Masterplan for territorial transformation of the whole area, approximately 1,000,000 square meters, as well as for the design and processing of economic and financial plan (Business plan) of the overall development of the same area. In the second phase, however, it will be carried out the implementation activities of the Master Plan and the Business Plan aimed at the development of the Area, which therefore also include the activities of design, construction works and management of spaces.
