Ottawa – The Italian Ambassador in Canada, Gian Lorenzo Cornado, returns to Rome to assume the position of chief of staff of the new Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano. “In the past four years – Cornado writes in the letter of greeting addressed to the Italian community in the North American country – it has been for me a great honor to represent Italy in Canada, a real privilege to be able to contribute to strengthen even further the relations between the two countries and between the two people”.
