Based on a proposal of the Executive Committee of the Henry James Society, Professor Leonardo Buonomo from the Humanities Department of the University of Trieste, was elected for three positions for the 2017-19 triennium: Secretary / Treasurer (2017), Deputy President (2018) and President (2019). The Henry James Society is dedicated to the study and dissemination of the works of one of the greatest writers of the English language. Among its members are scholars from major universities in the world. The society organises meetings, symposia and international conferences (most recently at Brandeis University in the United States) and publishes the peer-reviewed journal “The Henry James Review”.
