(March 13, 2017) A fantastic world, made of bright colors and elegant compositions, is represented in the works of Marche painter Anna Claudi. 40 years after her death (May 12, 1976), the works of the artist born in Serrapetrona, in the province of Macerata, have flown to Argentina. After Rosario and Tigre, now the exhibition “Anna Claudi Pictorial Fables” makes a stop in Buenos Aires, where it will remain open to the public until March 22 at the Italian Institute of culture. The exhibition, organized in collaboration with the Marche Region, the Claudi Foundation, Centro Studi Marche, Marche Associations in Argentina and the Council of the Marches abroad, consists of works that represent the personal interpretation of the world that Anna Claudi managed to convey through her painting. The artist was very much appreciated at an international level: in 1952 in New York sends a group of works that are purchased by various collectors and in 1954 took place at the Odeon in Paris an exhibition dedicated to her work. In 1955 Claudi exhibits, in the presence of King Umberto II, some of her works in the Foz palace halls in Lisbon. Many of her works have been acquired by public and private collections in Italy and abroad. (PO / Red)
