Karachi – The naval campaign of the ship ‘Carabiniere’ in Southeast Asia and Australia – born with the collaboration of Fincantieri, Leonardo, Mbda Italia, Elettronica, Telespazio and Drass -, arrived in Pakistan. The European Multi-Mission Navy Frigate (FREMM) arrived yesterday in Karachi, capital of Sindh province and second most populous city of the Earth after Shanghai and it will stay until Sunday. The frigate has arrived in Pakistan after stops in Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, a visit of a month in Australia and the stops in Indonesia and Singapore, taking part in several exercises with local marinas and at Lima ’17 exhibition (Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace Exhibition) in Malaysia. The ship’s captain, Captain of the Frigate Francesco Pagnotta, along with officials of Pakistani Navy and the Italian attendant in Pakistan, held a press conference on board during which presented the naval campaign in progress and illustrated the ship, jewel of Italian shipbuilding.
