Buenos Aires. The 8th edition of the European Cinema Show kicked off in Buenos Aires on May 8th. The exhibition, co-organised by the European Union Delegation in Argentina, Alliance Française, the Italian Institute of Culture and the Kino Palais with the Embassies of the Member States of the European Union; intends to continue offering the Argentinian public a panorama of the most current developments in European cinema, with a programming that provides a title for each of the participating countries. Each film will be screened at different times and days in the auditorium of the Alliance Française, the Italian Institute of Culture, and in the movie theatre of the “Kino Palais” of the Palais de Glace. All films scheduled until May 17 – the closing day of the event – are subtitled in Spanish. The title that represents Italy on May 17 is “The children know it” – the docufilm by Walter Veltroni (2005). (9colonne)
