Rome – The third edition of the Terre des Hommes Student Grants Program is officially launched, reserved for younger migrants aged 21 and under, received in second-home facilities. Scholarships will allow girls and teenagers to arrive in our country alone and enter into a welcoming community to undertake educational or work training, contributing to their emancipation and greater and better integration as promised by the recent Zampa Act and the UN Convention On the rights of minors. This year, the project was funded by the Fondation d’Harcourt and the World Association des Amis de l’Enfance and is being held in collaboration with the National Council for Assistant Societies (CNOAS) and the National Foundation for Social Welfare. The deadline for submitting applications is June 9. Announcement of the winners will be given instead by July 15. Each scholarship may cover the costs of vocational training and / or other specialization or course of study required for a maximum of 1,500 euros. (9colonne)
