(June 12, 2017) New tour (the fifth in three years) in London for one of the best and most appreciated pianists of the Italian and international jazz scene: Andrea Pozza. The musician returns to England for four concerts, all scheduled in London and starting today. Andrea Pozza will present his latest album, “Siciliana”: a tribute to the great pianists and composers who have indelibly marked the history of music: from Bach to Chick Korea, from the Seventieth Century to present days. The record was made in trio with Andrew Cleyndert (cb) and Mark Taylor (dr) for the English label Trio Records. The tour starts today, June 12, at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, it will continue until Thursday, June 15, and will stop in some of London’s most prestigious jazz clubs. For this occasion Pozza will be accompanied by some of the most well-known and appreciated jazz musicians of the English music scene: Dave Green on Bass, Steve Brown and Shane Forbes on drums. (Red)
