Ankara – The Italian Opera conquers Ankara. Last night the tenor Dario Di Vietri performed at the Ankara Opera House on a special concert organized by the Italian Embassy in Turkey to celebrate the ‘Festival of Music’. The musical event, under the direction of maestro Alessandro Cedrone, saw the participation, together with Di Vietri, of Korean soprano Lilla Lee, Turkish mezzosoprano Ezgi Karakaya and Turkish baritone Umut Kosman, accompanied by the Orchestra of Ankara State Opera and Ballet. The concert is the result of the engagement of the Italian diplomatic representation along with the Korean embassy and the General Directorate of the Turkish Opera and Ballet. (9colonne)
