(10 July 2017) Italian is the language of fashion, art, design and good food. But, above all, it is increasingly loved and appreciated outside national boundaries so as to climb up in the rankings of the most studied languages abroad to fourth place after English, Spanish, and Chinese. The teaching of Italian language and culture is at the centre of the Guatemala City Italian Institute of Culture’s agenda. For this reason, the Institute organised “Open Doors” which is scheduled for Thursday, July 20 from 11 – 18:00 at the IIC. During the day, the Italian language and culture courses promoted by the institute will be presented to the public: “Today, which is open to the public will be presented through various activities, courses, teaching methodology and the significant and curious aspects of Italian culture”.
