Seoul. The Ilsang Gallery inaugurated Lorenzo Passi’s exhibition “Reminiscence” curated by Giovanna Maroccolo and Kyou-Hong Lee, in Seoul. “Everything we are is given by the more or less harmonious collage of what we have experienced, the voids and the peaks of a life that for the most part was not spectacular but simple and delicate, perhaps even boring and sad” reads the introductory presentation. The glass works that make up the exhibition are the result of a personal artistic experience in Beijing. Each glass piece, searched and collected personally by the artist at the city’s iron dump, was then blown into a piece of metal. Metal pieces that were once objects have witnessed changes over time, family relocations in homes, seasons, births, and deaths. (9Colonne)
