Hamburg – Following the great success of previous editions, the International Softwood Conference will be open this year, from October 4 to 6 in Hamburg. Italy will be represented by Federlegno who will be present with an official delegation of entrepreneurs. Presentations will be focused on the facts and figures illustrating world timber production and consumption in major markets such as North Africa, Egypt, Japan, Russia and the United States, to name just a few. An overview on the British market after BREXIT will be one of the most interesting points of interest in this year’s ISC. In addition, a thorough insight into the Canadian market and updates on the US-Canada trade agreement will certainly help enrich the debate between the participants. The International Softwood Conference 2017 is hosted by the German Timber Dealers Federation (GD HOLZ), the European Trader Federation (ETTF) and the European Seed Company (EOS). (9colonne)
