Brussels. Professor Settimo Termini, formerly Professor of “Theoretical Computer Science” at the University of Palermo and still active in the Department of Mathematics and Informatics, received the “Italian Fuzzy Pioneer Award” from the European Logic Fuzzy Association (EUSFLAT) in conjunction with IEEE, “for his valuable contribution to initiating and developing research on fuzzy logic in Italy. The prestigious award was conferred to him on July 10th at the opening ceremony of the “IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems” (FUZZ-IEEE 2017). (9Colonne)
