Nuremberg – Nuremberg held a cultural event on the Medici family in recent days. The report, held by Enrica Valsecchi, chairman of the Nuremberg Committee of Dante Alighieri, has touched the hub of the history of the Medici dynasty and its influence on Italian politics, but also on Renaissance. With it, the first seven months of activity of the Dante Alighieri Society Committee of Nuremberg for 2017 were concluded. But in Nuremberg – says a note from the Committee – there is a need for Italy, its culture and its language. Even more Italy, even more Italian. This is why, on the express request and desire of many Dante’s members and friends, the board has therefore prolonged summer activities, covering also the month of August and the first half of September. It all resumes or, to say, it continues on 25 August with an meeting in Italian on Calabria. Following are Italian meetings about Friuli and Assisi. Finally, on September 22, the Piedmont region (destination of the Nuremberg Dante 2017 journey) will be presented in German,. (9colonne)
