(2 August 2017) A little more of Italy in Nuremberg thanks to the Dante Alighieri Society. Some Italian regions will host programmes in August by the Nuremberg Chapter of the Dante Alighieri Society at the request of many members and friends of the Society. The conference will begin on August 25th with a lecture on Calabria followed by Friuli and Assisi. Finally, in September, Piedmont will be presented in German, the Dante Society of Nuremberg’s 2017. The talks fit in with the Society’s calendar: in recent days, there was a cultural event on the Medici family. The lecture by Enrica Valsecchi, chairwoman of the Dante’s SocietyNuremberg Committee, has touched on the key points of the history of the Medici dynasty and its influence on Italian politics, but also on the Renaissance. This concluded the first seven months of the Society’s 2017 calendar. (Red)
