Berlin – Berlin Com.It.Es. bans the third edition of the creative contest “A work for the Italian of the Year”, aimed at Italian visual artists (painting, sculpture, illustration and photography) who live in the territory of the Berlin Greater Area (Berlin, Brandenburg , Saxony, Upper Saxony, Thuringia). The two selected works, each receiving a prize money of 500.00 euros, will be awarded in turn as a prize to the two 2017 winners of the Com.It.Es Prize. “The Italian of the Year”, awarded annually to two Italians, a woman and a man, who in any way have significantly contributed to the promotion and enhancement of Italian culture and identity in the territory of the Berlin Greater Area. During the awards ceremony, which will take place in the first months of next year, Com.It.Es reserves the right to organize an exhibition, where possible and in agreement with the artists concerned, of the top ten works selected by the jury.
