(2 August 2017) A painting, sculpture, illustration and photography contest for Italian artists in Berlin. The Com.it.Es Berlin annoucned the third edition of “A work of art for the Italian of the Year”, aimed at Italian visual artists who live in the Berlin Metropolitan area (Berlin, Brandenburg, Saxony, Upper Saxony, Thuringia). The two winning work of art will each receive a cash prize of €500.00, will be given, in turn, as a prize to the two winners of the 2017 Com.It.Es Prize. “The Italian of the Year ” awarded annually to two Italians, a woman and a man, who have contributed significantly to the promoting Italian culture and identity in the Berlin area. During the awards ceremony early next year, Com.It.Es will possibly organise an exhibition in agreement with the artists of the top ten works selected by the jury . After the victory of artists Margherita Pevere and Giuseppe Fornasari in the 2016 edition, Com.It.Es. Berlin reaffirms its commitment to promoting Italian culture in Germany and has extended a wide invitation to all Italian artists in the Berlin area. (Red)
