St. Petersburg. About one year after the relocation on the Russian market, the reorganisation of distribution and acquisition of all single brands in the country, Piquadro consolidates its significant growth of last year with the opening of two new boutiques, one in San Petersburg and the second in Voronezh, not far from the Ukrainian border. The outlets – both franchises – are within large shopping centres located in the city centre: the Galeria in St. Petersburg and the Chizhov in Voronezh. The Bolognese tech-design brand accessories for business travelers has been present for about 10 years in Russia where it is very well known and appreciated. In order to capitalise on the results achieved in this market, the company has recently redefined its distribution strategy with huge investments and since February 1st, all Piquadro’s Moscow retail outlets have become property and are managed directly. “Despite the difficult situation, last year we decided to invest in the Russian market and our trust was not betrayed,” says Marco Palmieri, Chairman and CEO of Piquadro.
