Vilnius. Ten Italian restaurants in Vilnius will celebrate the Italian Cuisine Week in the World Programme in Lithuania from November 20th – 26th. The project was strongly requested by the Italian Government to follow the issues that were successfully discussed during the Milan Expo: Quality, Sustainability, Culture, Food Security, Right to Food, Education, Identity, Territory, and Biodiversity. The objective Italian Cuisine Week is to internationally promote culinary and gastronomic traditions as distinguishing elements of Italian identity and culture as well as one of the main elements of the ‘Marchio Italia’ (the Italian brand). These are the participating restaurants in Vilnius with the special menu dedicated to Italy: Da Antonio, Trattoria da Flavio, Restaurant Sorrentino, Pane e Vino, Renaissance Restoranas, San Valentina restoranas, Uzupio Piceria, Bonocosì, and Maurizio’s Pizzeria.
