Bratislava. “Hory a Mesto” (mountains and cities) is an international film festival dedicated to mountain and other outdoor sports that started in Bratislava on March 21st lasting until Sunday. World renowned mountain guide and climber, Maurizio Giordani, is among the guests of the 19th “Hory a Mesto” Festival This evening he will be at the Kino Cinemax – Bory Mall. The event was organised in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Bratislava. Giordani, born in Rovereto, has practiced mountaineering since 1979. His experience ranges from cliffs to the high altitudes of the Himalayas. As a passionate traveler, he boasts over 50 expeditions all over the world, from America, Africa to Asia. This international festival, whose central event is a film festival on mountaineering, offers a wide audience the opportunity to see films on this topic and to take part in sports, discussions, talks, and workshops.
