Bern. The concert of the Genoese singing group “I Giovani Canterini di Sant’Olcese” is scheduled for Saturday, June 2nd in Bern. The singing team was founded in 1993 with the intention of practicing and spreading the Genoese folk song, better known as “trallalero” – a type of multi-voice singing performed without the aid of musical instruments (a cappella chorus). The group’s main goal is the practice and diffusion of the Genoese folk song, especially among the new generations, implementing – in parallel with the actual concert activity – events in schools and other associations. In their twenty-years career, “I Giovani Canterini di Sant’Olcese” have performed in more than 500 concerts, some during special events and others during local and charity events. (9Colonne)
