Madrid – In recent days, the Sardinian guitarist and composer Gabriele Deiana presented his album “Georgina’s Rumba” in Madrid, a recording project started in 2014 that involves some musicians of the Paco de Lucia sextet and several winners and / or nominees to the Latin Grammy. “Georgina’s Rumba” is a stylistically eclectic production consisting of Latin, Jazz, and Flamenco inspired by Paco de Lucia’s 1981 album “Sólo Quiero Caminar”. The central theme of “Georgina’s Rumba” is an instrumental flamenco motif composed in 1993 and recently recorded in Madrid with the collaboration of some musicians of the first and second Paco de Lucia sextet as Jorge Pardo, Carlos Benavent, Israel Suárez “El Piraña “, Juanito Carmona, and Los Cherokee. At the presentation of the album was the Councilor of the Italian Embassy in Madrid, Luis Cavalieri. (9Colonne)
