London – The reading circle of the Italian Cultural Institute dedicated to the Seventies in today’s literature continues. On January 22nd, “L’estate del ’78” (Summer of ’78) by Roberto Alajmo will be presented. “The seventies, for many reasons, have marked Italy’s history and today, even in the literary field, there is a growing attention to them. Writers that lived through them and young writers who were born later, view them with different approaches, styles, and purposes. The novels chosen whose authors differ in age, offer a wide, live, and historicised overview of that decade”. (9colonne)
