(Mar. 26) – The ANCI, the Italian Footwear Association, continues its abroad work dedicated to the promotion of Italian footwear. Next event on the agenda will be Moda Made in Italy, a show dedicated to medium and hig-end Italian footwear, to be held from April 1 to 3 in the halls of the MOC in Munich. Over 200 hundred Italian companies will exhibit their autumn-winter 2012/2013 collections, including brands such as Aldo Brue, Accatino, Brunate Baldinini, Franceschetti, Fratelli Rossetti, Galizio Torresi, Les Tres Jolis, Linea Marche, Moda di Fausto e Pensato. New exhibitors, such as the Duca del Nord, Mlin, Thierry Rabotin and bags manufacturers Gianni Chiarini and Roberta Pieri, will participate in the event. The MOC of Munich is one of the strategic appointments for the entire category, as it attracts visitors from Switzerland, Austria and northern Europe: a real business opportunity for Italian companies which may bring their own collections to a wider catchment area. “The German market has always been interested by quality and style of Italian shoes, selling points to overcome the difficult period of the Italian domestic consumption,” said Cleto Sagripanti, president of the ANCI. “Italian Trademarks have a good reputation in Germany and this event is the natural support to Italian companies wishing to expand their presence abroad.” (Ram/Peg)
