(Jun 1) Samoter, one of the most important international exhibitions for construction machinery, will participate in the M&T Expo, leading South American trade show which is held until June 2 in Sao Paulo. Brazil is confirmed one the most interesting market in the sector, with a request that, according to Sobratema, will increase of 50% until 2016 (from 84,000 to 126,000 units) and an internal market which already accounts for 4% of the world. An opportunity not to be missed for Italian exports , which grew by 13% in the first two months of 2012 over the same period in 2011. And Samoter can be forerunner in Brazil, searching for new buyers for Italian companies. All the mettings in Brazil have been attended by GianPaola Pedretti, brand manager of Samoter, Andrea Batazzi, representatvie of Veronafiere for Latin America, Giovanni Sacchi, Director of the Italian Institute of Foreign Trade (former ICE) in Sao Paulo, Alfonso Mamede, president of Sobratema, Brazilian Construction Machinery and Technology Association and organizer of M&T Expo, and Ralf Wezel, secretary general of the CECE, the Committee for European Construction Equipment.
