(Aug. 22) In Vienna, 2012 is Kilmt’s year. On August 27, the exhibit “Klimt persönlich. Bilder – briefe – einblicke”, held at the Leopold Museum, celebrates the 150th anniversary of his birth. The City of Ravenna, for the occasion, sent three mosaics composed by the artist during his travels to admire the byzantine mosaics of the city. The three mosaics depict Empress Theodora, Justinian and Maximian.
