(Sept. 4) – Today, at the Hôtel de la Rochefoucald-Doudeville, the Italian Embassy in Paris hosts the exhibition “Quando la Moda cambia la pelle” (When fashion changes the skin), organized by Anteprima by Lineapelle, and during which there will be exposed original interpretations from the Italian tanning tradition made by twelve young designers. The exhibition celebrates the historic craft activities and submit to the French public the new autumn-winter 2013-2014 collection: France is in fact the third largest importer of the Italian tanning industry, with an increase of 22% over the last year. So the Italian leather industry confirms its global leadership. During the event, all the guests will participate in a creative Atelier, which illustrates the various dynamics of leather processing and directly involves the participants to produce a design chosen for the occasion by a panel of experts.
