(Sept .7) – Her name is Arianna, she is 9 years old, but in Burgundy is known as the Mona Lisa of Montebelluna (Treviso), after having charmed the jury of the international competition “The Eté des Portraits” of Bourbon-Lancy. The child was portrayed by photographer Alfonso Lorenzetto, from Treviso, who, thanks to the young model and his ability to capture her thoughtful expression, was awarded the Bronze Award. The portrait of Arianna will be exhibited in the streets of the French town until September 25, with the other winning photos. Lorenzetto, who has a studio in Via Galilei in Montebelluna, portrayed the child as part of the non-profit project “Growth” which he is developing along with the Accademia della Danza Lirica of Montebelluna and in collaboration with the local administration. The project aims to describe, through photography, the physical growth, human and spiritual of boys and girls who are approaching the ballet. (Roc/red)
