(Sept 28) – The appointment with the Italian Design Week 2012 is just around the corner. It will start next October 1 the project of the Czech Chamber of Commerce, structured within Designblok, the biggest exhibition of design in the Czech Republic. The Italian Design Week will occupy the entire second floor of the building Kafkuv Dum – one of the two locations of Designblok -, which will be exclusively dedicated to interior design. There will present the most important importers of Italian design furniture in the Czech Republic, as Aqua Trade, Esagono, Opera Italia, Punto Design Studio Nika, along with the unique design of the high-end appliances by De Longhi and Kenwood. The Italian presence is not limited to the exhibition spaces in the Kafkuv Dum. In other areas of Designblok other brands will make their entrance in the Czech design market, such also Livingplus, importer of Italian quality furniture, Scuderia Praha, exclusive dealer of Ferrari and Maserati in the Czech Republic, and Urbansurvival, who will present the real estate project “La Corte” together with Manghi Czech Republic. To be noticed the important presence of the Centro Estero per l’Internazionalizzazione Piemonte (Foreign Centre for the Internationalization of Piedmont), with the support of the Chamber of Commerce of Turin, which has launched a series of special projects with the aim to raise awareness and enhance Piedmontese design abroad.
