(Oct. 5) Mondo TV and Entertainment One (eOne) have signed an agreement, which allows the latter to use in North America, excerpts from the “Cuccioli cerca amici – Avventure a Pocketville” home videos. The series, originally co-produced by Mondo TV, Meg and Giochi Preziosi, airs in the US on Boomerang, Cartoon Network, twice a day. The American Jakks Pacific will distribute a series of toys, including collector’s items, accessories, play sets and stuffed animals. Scholastic will take care of the publishing sector, and eOne will distribute the DVDs mid-2013. Matteo Corradi, head of Sales at Mondo TV, says, “we’re very excited to be working with eOne for this project. We’re positive they’re the best partners for it, capable of promoting the series in the home video sector of such an important market, as the North American one is”.
