Nov. 1 – Cariparma Crédit Agricole has granted, via SACE’s intermediation, a €1 million loan to help Naples’ historical tailor shop, Ciro Paone, under the brand Kiton, bring its top quality elegant designs abroad. In fact, the loan will be used to boost the international development of the company, which will strengthen its production system as well as its Kiton shops, starting with France. Since 1956, Ciro Paone has produced both clothing and accessories of high quality, commercialized exclusively via its 36 shops in France, England, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, United States, China, South Korea, Japan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Singapore. In 2001, Ciro Paone opened a school for tailors, in order to transfer the great tailoring tradition of Naples to a new generation, and renew the company’s work force, currently composed of 500 tailors. SACE, present in Naples with SACE Point, in the same structure where Unindustria is based, renews its investment and engagement in the fashion sector, in which Italy can count on the great names that brought Made in Italy products to the world stage.
