Nov. 9 – Sardinia goes to Paris to further strengthen the considerable growth of tourist flows, before heading to Warsaw to expand its touristic horizons in a market on the rise and with great potential. After the success of the World Travel Market in London, the Sardinia region will head to Paris and Warsaw, respectively on Tuesday November 13 and Thursday, November 15. The aim is to present a series of international workshops, organized by the Department of Tourism, which supported the island’s holiday offers throughout Europe. The events in Paris and Warsaw confirm this year’s positive trends in arrivals and presences abroad in the region (almost +3% compared to 2011), and about 30 Sardinian tourist operators (hotels and hotel chains, tour operators and service companies), accredited by the Region, will participate. Sardinia returns to Paris to promote its uniqueness, in light of the increased tourist flows from France to the beautiful island. There are great expectations for Poland, a country that considers Italy the western destination par excellence. The Poles are drawn in by food and wine as well as the religious background of the region.
