Dec. 17 – Segafredo Zanetti Espresso, Italian firm of coffee roasting, has announced the opening of a new café in Riyadh, the capital and largest city of Saudi Arabia. Riyadh, “meadows” in Arabic, is located in the center of the Arabian Peninsula and has 5.2 million inhabitants. The Segafredo restaurant, which offers more than 40 seats in 115 m2, is located within the Rabwah Mall, a large shopping belonging to Al Othaim, the second largest operator of shopping malls in Saudi Arabia. Mall Rabwah covers 200,000 m2 and is home to 684 shops and parking slots for 2,000 cars. “It is the perfect location for Segafredo Zanetti’s unmistakable style and the excellent quality of its espresso,” said the group in a statement. This is the 8th café opening in Riyadh and 4 new projects are already being designed.
