Feb. 5 – They left Italy and recorded their first single in Chicago, becoming the new internet revelation with over 14 thousand views in less than two weeks on Youtube. This is Mode, a young band who chose to leave Italy to look for success in America. In a very short period of time, the band conquered the net thanks to the warm and scratchy voice of the leader of the group, the singer Antonio Modica. Their first single, “Let the truth be told,” was released on January 19, and is already extremely popular online, attracting the attention of major record labels in America. “Our band is Italian, but created in Chicago because, in spite of the various projects and a good experience with live music, we never received the right feedback for the Italian musical market – says the group’s leader Antonio Modica – so we decided to move overseas and start from scratch, with a self-produced project. The success that we have achieved in a short time on the web is something unexpected and a wonderful result of our willpower and our love for music.” The band is composed of four Italian musicians, all young and ambitious, who decided to leave everything behind. In fact, the band invested all its resources in this project: going to the U.S. in search of an alternative style, and mixing the right kind of soul / pop rock. In addition to the group leader Antonio Modica, the band is composed of the warm and enveloping voice of Claudia D’Angelo and musicians Lucio D’Angelo (bass) and Stefano Ruscica (drums). Mode have dozens of songs ready for the recording, some of which will be part of their first album, entitled “Modality”.
Meanwhile, the net is keenly awaiting the release of the next single and first album of Mode.
