Feb. 18 – Raphael Gualazzi will perform live once again from the end of March: he’s taking “Happy Mistake”, on an international tour that will kick off in Paris. The artist is scheduled for an exclusive date on 28 March at Café de la Danse, a historical live club in the heart of Paris, before stopping in Italy in April, starting from his home region, the Marche. Gualazzi will be joined on stage by nine musicians, 8 of whom French – including three singers – in a show that alternates intense and dynamic and multi-faceted blues and jazz atmospheres to gospel and soul but also rock and country. Released on February 14, “Happy Mistake”, his new album, contains thirteen tracks full of ideas, inventions, and details that break the mold and displace the listener. The album is also a surprising tribute to Giuseppe Verdi (“Questa o quella per me pari non sono”). Nino Rota (“Improvvisazione su temi di Amarcord”) and duets with France’s Camille (“L’amie d’un Italien ( Rainbows)”) and with the Puppini Sisters (” Welcome to my hell”). Raphael is author, composer, arranger and producer of the album. “Happy Mistake” also contains two songs taken by the artist on the stage of the Sanremo Music Festival, “Senza Ritegno”, a rock’n’roll piece in a minor jazz-soaked key that sees a collaboration with Fabrizio Bosso after the success of “Follia d’Amore” and “Sai (ci basta un sogno)”, chosen by critics and the public at the Sanremo Festival as the better song. “Happy mistake tour” will also touch, on April 6, the Teatro La Fenice in Senigallia, April 8 the Teatro Arcimboldi in Milan, April 21 the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, and April 22 the Auditorium Santa Chiara in Trento.
