Mar. 22 – the internationalization process of the Carrera brand continues with excellent results in Eastern Europe. After the Carrera Store in the Ukrainian city of Odessa, on the shores of the Black Sea, the company has recently opened another store in the Belarusian city of Gomel, capital of the province and the second most populous urban settlement (492,100 inhab. in 2012) of the former Soviet Union. Gomel, spelt in the local language Homel’, is situated in the southeastern part of the country, on the right bank of the river Soz, near the Ukrainian border. It is here, in one of the most popular shopping streets of the city, that Carrera has opened introduced its Men and Women Collections and has also launched the new Carrera Play the revolutionary trousers “inside sweatshirt and out jeans,” for which the market of former USSR satellite countries is a real preview. The store has been decorated with the new exhibition layout and is about 80m2.
