Apr. 4 – The Italian association Afriaca, supported by The European House-Ambrosetti in the collection of new and used electronic products and computers, has shipped these to Togo, where they will be used in schools and training centers in the capital, Lomé, as well as in other villages. Founded in Italy in 1965 by Alfredo Ambrosetti, today The European House is an international leader in consulting services for management, professional development, workshops and forums. It regularly donates printers, copiers, desktop computers and notebooks laptops. For Afriaca’s project, the collection took place during February 2013, and, after the success of the initiative, Afriaca decided to launch a second project in June, to include clothing, toys and household appliances for kindergartens, orphanages and families in the villages. The European House-Ambrosetti develops many activities in Italy, in Europe and around the world thanks to the contribution of professionals with homogeneous and distinctive yet complementary and synergistic expertise. The group operates as an “open system” by allowing external experts to enter the team when necessary.
