May 21 – “Barrique: wood’s third way” comes to New York; the project by San Patrignano opened within Design Week. The center, known for its work with troubled teenagers and young adults, brings to the US furniture signed by famous architects, such as Michele De Lucchi, Carlo Colombo, Karim Rashid, Arnaldo Pomodoro, and Marc Sadler, and products created through the recovery of wine barrels.
