May 31 – Mondo TV announced that it has signed an agreement with Icflix Media for the distribution in the Middle East of approximately 350 hours of Mondo TV’s library. According to the agreement, Icflix Media will be able to offer Mondo TV’s products to its subscribers through its internet platform. Icflix Media is the first operator offering online streaming services in the Middle East. The non-exclusive license will last three years, and includes only the use of the library through subscription services, and Mondo TV will receive a $ 120,000 license fee. Matteo Corradi, CEO of Mondo TV, explains the importance of this new agreement: “This agreement confirms Mondo TV’s reference role for animation products in the MENA – We are now able to attract investment even from new entrants into the market with our alternative and innovative proposals. All this is possible thanks to the attention that Mondo TV has placed in its offer package across different platforms: the fruits of this meticulousness have started to show mainly this year, but the breadth of our library still allows significant room for improvement.”
