June 7 – The Genoese singer Corinne Vigo is on the radio with “In Amore”, the first single from her debut album (to be released on June 11), “Lattine & alter storie” (Fruit Records-Self). “It ‘s a song as fresh and pungent as spring, warm and ironic, bittersweet and sensual as love. It’s meant to be on everyone’s lips, in everyone’s heart. ‘In Amore’ is a song to fall in love again,” says Corinne. The voice of the artist has already overcome national boundaries with the song “Planeta y satellite,” that’s been rocking on Argentina’s radios. “Lattine & Altre Storie” is an album suspended between the past and the future, it contains love and topical songs, smaller stories of everyday news. It is poetic: no song is shouted, no self-centeredness. The album, produced by Filippo Travo assisted by Gigi De Rienzo and Andrea Gallo, also contains international duets maintained and managed by Alex Simone: the song “En mi azul” (“In my blue”) sung with Marcela Marelo (South American pop icon that included the song on her latest album, released in 2012 for Sony Music Argentina); “Como fueses huracan,” sung with Pablo Herrera; and the song “Planeta Y satellite,” a duet with Ivan Catriel. Francesco Gazzè is among the authors of the texts, he wrote “Lattine”, “Shadows of yesterday” and “Nel mio blu.”
