June 14 – Barolo, Prosecco, Aglianico, Brunello and wines from Friuli… Some of the finest Italian wines will head to France thanks to ICE and Enoteca Italiana’s participation in Vinexpo, the biennial wine fair scheduled from Sunday until June 20 in Bordeaux. Dedicated tasting and seminars will take place to raise awareness for the very best of Italian wine. For four days, Italy will offer its best in one of the most important events in the world, accompanied by the national wine association and the Chinese society Yishang Wine Business Consulting. In collaboration with the Italian Export Association, a dedicated tasting in Chinese has been organized, entitled “Taste Italy!” to promote the productive excellence of the different territories participating. “There will be three scheduled appointments – said Giovanni Pugliese, Head of the Export department for Enoteca Italiana and Vice President of Yishang WBC – On Monday, June 17 we will kick off with ‘The great classics: the story of excellence’: a journey across the different producers, their history, territory and wine typology. The four companies, Adami Spumanti, Paolo Saracco, Fattoria Selvapiana and Tenuta S. Antonio, will also in some way represent their regions: Piedmont, Veneto and Tuscany. On June 18, “White, Red …” with Casanova di Neri and Le Vie di Romans will take place, combining the aromatic nuances of Friuli whites with the powerful interpretation of Brunello, to reveal the meaning of wine perfection. Finally, on June 19, the great Italian red wines, like Barolo Roberto Voerzio, Bolgheri di Aia Vecchia and Carignano del Sulcis di Santadi will have the center stage.”
