July 29 – The wonders of Italian food have always fascinated the whole world, and Italy is getting ready to amaze some more with its new information technology and food and beverage processing and packaging brand. The aim is to promote domestic production in this sector thanks to an agreement between UCIMA (the Union of Italian manufacturers for automatic wrapping and packaging machines) and the Parma Fair, the most important Italian exhibition center for food industry events. Thanks to the agreement, Cibus Tec will be joined by Food Pack, event dedicated to packaging of food and beverages. The two events embedded in the Italian food industry will take place in Parma October 28-31, 2014. Cibus and Food Pack are candidates to become the most important event in the world for Italian technology destined for the food & beverage sectors. On the horizon there is also the possibility of an agreement with Cologne Trade Fair, which organizes Anuga FoodTec, to share international development projects and new initiatives in emerging markets. The 2014 main event will be announced by a series of appropriate promotional activities. Cibus Tec & Food Pack will organize a dedicated road show to cover all relevant world food fairs, in conjunction with Cibus Tec’s international programs, a special preview during Cibus Parma in May 5-8, 2014, and the launch of new initiatives. The latter include business matching activities, in collaboration with ICE, in key target markets that offer Food and Technology producers ongoing opportunities to promote their business at the international level.
